Found what I needed first time digging April 3, 2007 M. A. FOLEY (MISSION VIEJO, CA United States) 3 out of 8 found this review helpful
I was looking for a way to... and I found it in a short period of time. I shall have this fabulous reference to dig into whenever I need it. Happy with this good book from Mr. Spreadsheet.
Get this book, even if you use OpenOffice Calc! March 22, 2007 Zaine Ridling 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
John Walkenbach is well established as a great spreadsheet mind and is not afraid to share the shortcomings of any software, including Excel 2007. Excel 2007 Formulas continues the tradition of providing, explaining, and demonstrating how formulas work and how you don't have to be intimidated by them. Everything is covered, and I mean everything. And just a note: even if you use StarOffice/OpenOffice Calc, buy this book since almost all the formulas listed transfer seamlessly into the Open Source spreadsheet, too -- a great value, indeed!
Late shipping does not a bad book make. February 16, 2007 C. Hebert (A Cave) 4 out of 18 found this review helpful
Just my two cents, but for the first reviewer to give the book one star after not even reading/using the darned things strikes me as irresponsible. So why my 5-star review? Merely for balance.
