A more "recent" user February 17, 2008 Patricia Lyman (California) I can't believe you are still running reviews of plan plus online that are 4 years old! Do you have any reviews from 2007 or even 2008? This product has changed my business and taken it to the next level. All my employees appreciate the ease of communication it has created. I can travel anywhere in the WORLD and keep my business running smoothly. Early users should try it again, they won't be disappointed.
Less than one star if it were possible June 11, 2006 Robert Leaman (Germany) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
As all of the others I find this "software" not only useless, but downright dangerous! It kept reporting that the "property agxPID" could not be found - too true, you can't any reference to it anywhere on the Internet... My laptop had to be reimaged from scratch in order to get rid of all the problems it caused. Deinstalling & clearing the registry did NOT help... How anyone who "sells" integrity etc. could live with this catastrophe I just don't know. If you want to effectively turn your computer into a garbage heap use this "software" - the only more effective way is a sledgehammer applied with force! Rob
NO SUPPORT for PlanPlus v.3 January 29, 2006 S. E. Sopher (Riverside, CA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'm using a new Pentium D with 1 Gb of memory, Windows XP and Outlook 2002. PlanPlus first crashed my internet account settings. Once I fixed that it dropped multiple tasks then created duplicate, triplicate, and quadruplicate copies of the same task. Called the FranklinCovey store, no one knows this product. No call-in tech support available, chat room for tech questions closed. UNACCEPTABLE FOR A $100 PIECE OF SOFTWARE. FC's online knowledge base Does not address or recognize the problem with duplicates. I used FranklinCovey software 2-3 years ago with same experience...seems NOTHING HAS CHANGED.
Competing for Worst SW Product Ever October 31, 2005 Chazzman 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I am absolutely convinced by now that the folks at Franklin Covey are striving to set new lows in SW product quality. No product could be this bad if not intentionally. I tried more times that I'd like to admit and wasted countless hours trying to get it to work with my PALM and finally decided to uninstall it and throw it out. Some highlights for those of you who are considering making your life miserable by purchasing this product: 1. It WILL NEVER SYNCH PROPERLY WITH YOUR PALM EVER. Categories get deleted, duplicate and triplicate records are created, notes from tasks do not get copied correctly or at all. I spoke with their tech support more than a year ago and they knew about these problems and still haven't fixed them. In the mean time they will suggest that you uninstall and reinstall everything every time you have a problem. Who has the time for that? 2. It is SLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW. Prepare to sit around and wait for long periods of time while you wait for "features" to come up. 3. Don't even try Power Notes unless you enjoy watching your hard work disappear into nowhere. These guys really need to get out of the software business and stick with paper planners. For what it's worth, I also tried earlier versions of the stand alone software as well as the current version and had to throw them out as well. Given the choice between their products and a simple word or text document I would choose the latter. This is another produt that deserves a negative ten (-10) rating.
Trashes Outlook 2003 Install November 15, 2004 Relentlessly Geeky (Northern Illinois) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I installed the trial version, downloaded from the franklincovey website. It crashed twice during install, and now MS Outlook takes several minutes (yes MINUTES) to launch. I tried to uninstall this piece of crap, but it will not uninstall. Do not pay money for this product!
