Not for older computers with 2000PRO OS November 19, 2008 K. Martin (Philadelphia) Saitek Eclipse Keyboard PZ30AU This PZ30AU keyboard would not work with my older office Dell computer running Ms2000Pro that I bought it for. Rather then returning it I switched it out with a keyboard from a HP computer running Microsoft XP .. Works fine on the HP-XPOS.. However, Backlighting is not as bright as I expected.
Great keyboard November 19, 2008 A. Perl (USA) Does its job nicely. Quality is good. Lights up two levels. Both levels are visible during day light. No complaints.
Good keyboard but over time letters wear off October 29, 2008 Phelicia B. (Winchester, VA) My husband is a "hunt and peck" typer. One of our computer desks is in our bedroom. My husband always had to have a light on when I was trying to sleep when he was on the computer working, so he could see what he was typing. I bought him this Saitek keyboard for Christmas last year (2007). Our entire family, including children love this keyboard and it is used several hours a day. The only issue I have is, after ten months the paint is wearing off of the frequently used keys. It's not a problem for me, but the "hunt and peck" typers I live with will eventually have a problem. It's still a good keyboard and I may try to put permanent marker letters on the keys eventually and see how that works. Overall a good product. Even if I have to purchase another one eventually, the light is off when my hubby is typing. I'm happy!
good keyboard,but----- October 28, 2008 Charles W. Wolfe I bought this keyboard because I am a lousy typist.Cannot touch type which would be the solution to my problem. It is good looking and has a nice touch. My problem with it is the size of the letters on the keys.Too small, even with the illuminated background.I needed to use my desk lamp anyway. So I sent it back. Amazon was fast with a full refund. This might be just the thing for some, but not for me.Maybe new glasses and typing lessons!
Love it! October 7, 2008 Shorty (Mid-West) People ask me why I'm sitting in the dark or call me a vampire now because I'm always dimming the lights in the room to better see my awesome keyboard!
