Steps to change the language settings of the Windows XP System: (1) Open Start - Settings - Control Panel - Regional and Language Options. (2) The Regional and Language Options dialog will appear, click the Advanced tab. In the lower part of the dialog, select the Arabic language from any Arabic speaking country, it does not make much difference in written Arabic, and click the Set default button, to support some Arabic applications that require your Operating System's Default to be Arabic. Please note that the Arabic language may be set as the default language in harmony with other supported languages on your system, other languages can be selected, in order to read and write text in a certain language you must select this language.
