Compatible with XP January 16, 2006 Eileen M. Ohearne (Boston, MA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Like nearly all Windows 98 games, this game is compatible with XP. But, you can't just install the game without thinking. In file explorer, right-click Setup.exe and set Compatibility for windows 98. Now run setup.exe. Again, before running the Barbie game, right-click the EXE file and set compatibility to Windows 98. This avoids the issues cited by the other users here.

this computer game is okay. I played it a ton of times, and i could never solve it. it can get frusterating at times, for sometimes i get lost in the place. if you want a fun game, don't get this one.

Game plays fine for about 5 - 10 minutes then freezes. Have to reboot computer. Will send game back.
Not compatible with Windows XP August 19, 2005 Grandma (Santa Rosa, CA USA) 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
This game is tedious at best. The movement arrows are slow and frustrating. Instead of allowing the child to put in his or her own name, there is a menu to choose from: neither of my granddaughters' names were on the list. And most important -- this game is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS XP. It isn't readily apparent until you try to go into the garden or through secret passageways and knock out your computer.
