    Amazon.com Product Description
The cool autumn air. The mud on your jersey. The roar of the crowd. The game on your PC--yes, it's Backyard Football time! Junior sports teams up with the big leagues to bring you a gaming experience where the "real" pros take the field... as kids. Backyard Football 2001 adds professional quarterback Steve McNair, 1998 Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams, the 1998 NFL rushing leader Terrell Davis, and many more to its Backyard Football league. Players choose from all 31 NFL team names and colors, including the Denver Broncos, the Green Bay Packers, and the Tennessee Titans, as they go for all the marbles on their way to the big game. Select your team, logos, colors, and strategy. The game features five-on-five football with instant replay and touchdown dances, simple point-and-click controls, multiplayer head-to-head capability, and much more.

4 out of 5 stars Good ideas, bad ideas.   January 13, 2003

Well, I gave this a four star because of the hidden plays. They are plays when you do something very good. You can't turn them off, that is why I gave it a four. All the rest is fun and adventous. You can make up plays. Another thing that is good is that it has all of the NFL teams plus made up ones. You pick all eight players, then you play Football! There are three modes, single play, season, and trophy case. If you win the playoffs, you get to play in the Cereal Bowl (Like the Super bowl)!

My son plays this all the time. It is hard to get him to quit. He plays football and it also helps him with his game.

Because it's fun that you get to pick the players. And there kids.I like to read there stats.i think it fun to make a team. Then i like to practice. Games are really fun.I think the teams in the Chamhpionship should be even harder then ever. I like really ever thing about it.
