3 out of 5 stars Needs work on the numbers   December 1, 2007

I found that in Morris Literal Translation the numbers were not always right. This needs a lot of work to be done, to get match ups with the words of Strongs Concordance

I'm a pastor and teacher of a mission ministry that houses over 500 adult men in 4 different cities, all dealing with drug and alcohol addiction or either just being released from a correction facility. We have a six month, 100% Bible based program for overcoming chemical dependencies which means myself, associate pastors, counselors, bible teachers all must prepare for new and fresh sermons as well as interesting Bible topics and studies 5 days per week, year round. We do not want to misled, bore or burn out these men at this stage of their Christian walk and life or any other time for that matter and that is why I wanted to share with anyone needing accurate easy and quick references to Bible questions, studies and ideas, this is a very effective program and money well spent. Two of my students bought this program for me for Christmas 2001 and ever since I first used it, I have counted on it everyday without any disappointments.

    3 out of 5 stars I'm a beginner...   November 30, 2003

Although I'm a beginner, I have researched which bible is most used today. The church I started to attend uses the NIV which isn't included in this software. I bought this software with the intentions of learning more about the bible and, most important for a beginner, picking a bible that's right for me. This software is only good if you want to see translations of bibles not significantly used, if at all, today. There was an interesting section called Chronology of Biblical Christainity which itself is interesting, but to the beginner it was quite overwhelming. It would have been more comprehendible if it had been sectioned off into denominations. (Ex. the history of Lutheranism (sp?), Calvinism, Methodism, etc). It wasn't a bad feature though. There is also a link where you can "Upgrade" to a better version. The upgraded version I believe includes the NRSV, NASB, NKJ, and NAB-with Apocrypha along with a few other features. It seems to me that this version was to get me to buy it so I could spend another $40 and upgrade to the translations in use today. Although it did list on the product before I bought it what versions were included; a beginner isn't going to know that the KJV or the ASV, aren't too popular these days. I already have the NKJ version so if I upgraded it would only be for the NRSV, NASB and NAB. My recommendations to the manufacturer is to include the most used versions today and not require us to upgrade to get them. I probably won't upgrade simply because I don't want to spend more money.

2 out of 5 stars The Bible Library Suite   October 27, 2003

I bought this software to suppliment Quick Verses. It is not close to the ease of use that Quick Verses presents. Additionally the CD cover 'boasts' a number of features that I was not able to access without paying for a password to unlock them! I feel that the product is misrepresented as such. If you want a full featured Bible reference buy Quick Verses instead.

1 out of 5 stars Not the best by far.   June 19, 2003

This Software only contains on of the three bibles people normally use. (KJV) the NIV and the NASB are not in this soft ware. I was very disappointed with this software. Not worth the money I spent.
