Product Description A Book by Mark Schlichting. When Harry D. Rabbit hits one of Earl's famous curve balls right over Stinky's head, it lands in the spooky old house down the street. Harry and his friends cautiously explore the house, searching for their ball, and have a host of hair-raising experiences. Before they're done, they stumble across dozens of startling sights and sounds. A hat rack that tells knock-knock jokes. A skull that tells skeleton jokes. Dancing furniture and a phone that answers itself. Even the skeletons are scared! Children - Ages 3 to 8. As Harry and his friends search the scary mansion, they discover something about themselves as well as about "haunted" houses. Living Books are touched by magic. Characters talk and move, sing and dance. Sound effects, music, humor and lots of animations, create a whole new learning experience. Children just point and click. So they can repeat a favorite part, go back or skip ahead, all at their own pace. Reading skills grow through word recognition. As the computer reads them aloud, individual words, phrases and lines are highlighted. In English and Spanish. Change from English to Spanish and back again with just a click.

The Best of Living Books March 9, 2006 Keith Sargent (Rockville, Maryland USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We have several Living Books and a variety of educational CD's, but this is, by far, the most entertaining one for a 3 1/2 year old and her father. Each page has something new, and sometimes my daughter will find the right object to click before I do. The music and creativity allows adults to play along with their children repeatedly without becoming bored quickly.
