Expensive, moderately fun and poor graphics December 30, 2003 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Disney continues to market games with graphics that would have been considered to be poor over 10 years ago. It's amazing to me how they can charge so much for such a terrible product. The only recent game that I've seen that was worse than this is Disney's Lilo & Stitch Trouble in Paradise!
My daughter's favorite game! June 9, 2003 Debbie (Littleton, CO United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Definitely one of the most entertaining games I've ever seen. My daughter loves this game- and we have many to compare...

I found that the this was quite a difficult game in a number of areas. All the games have to be completed to get to the end which gives you a lot of different games many with a similar theme. There are five areas each containing three games and five jewels to find, two of which are easy to spot, one is hidden and the last two you win in the games. You must have five jewels to complete the third game. The games vary in difficulty with the children finding that dropping the boulders on the boats hard as they drop them over the boat not understanding that you must drop the boulder well ahead of the boat otherwise it will miss as when you drop the boulder the boat is moving and the boulder has a long way to fall. Catching shaddows is also hard as you have to get rid of the pirates and then run out of time. Catching coconuts is also difficult as you have to realise that you must move closer to the trees in order to catch them and can therfore not see all the trees that the coconuts may be in. Using the keyboard in the simon says game is quite difficult as it is not easy to remember the up and down keys. Yet there are games the kids really enjoyed like catching the gems and lighting the lanterns The graphics are poor as the people are not done very well yet the backgrounds are quite lovely. I also found there was quite a buildup for the end as you get the map and then you go to that spot watch a short animation complete a single puzzle and the game is finished, it was very disappointing a quite a letdown. The advantages are in the number of minigames available, the disappontments are in the difficulty in control in some of the minigames and in the rather abrumpt end. Not something I would recomend for a 5 year old as there are a number of minigames they would find frustrating.
Love This Game April 4, 2003 A. Lagemann This is a wonderful game to play. My 3 1/2 year old and my 6 year old have both played this game and they love it! It does take a parent's help, explanation, and guidance to get them started in the beginning on mastering the controls in order to fly. This being that almost all of the manuvers are made by utilizing various keys on the keyboard, not the mouse. They also need a parent's help with getting started on each of the various games, but once they get the nack of it...they have a ball! I, myself, have played this game and have had a blast! The graphics on this game are awesome and the games are a lot of fun too. After having this game in our household 6 months now, they have not yet become bored with it!
