Amazon.com Review Crack open the Print Shop Deluxe box and you'll find six CDs filled with tons of clip-art designs, project ideas, photo editing features, and tools for creating Web pages. While all these features may seem a bit intimidating at first, users will find it easy to dig into this program and start churning out calendars, greeting cards, business labels, and resumes. Like most home publishing programs, this package comes with tons of extras, all of which cannot fit onto one CD-ROM. As a result, installation is a somewhat lengthy process, with a program CD, an installation CD, and four art CDs. However, once the installation is complete, Print Shop Deluxe is easy to navigate and help is always close by. One warning note: after installation, you'll notice a few extra icons on your desktop, including an Install America Online icon, which seems to show up all over the place in software programs lately. Designed for home users, the Print Shop Deluxe does offer some features aimed at professionals. While these options (such as business cards and labels) are fine, this program really shines in the home publishing arena. The Learning Company has added some exciting new photo editing features to this edition, which should delight digital camera enthusiasts. In addition to artistic and filter effects, users can also take advantage of editing tools that adjust brightness, reduce red eye, and fix flaws. Version 12 also lets you add multimedia sound and video to your creations. And an integrated address book makes it easy to send your cards, newsletters, and post cards to friends and family. With more than 235,000 images and 13,000 layouts, there's bound to be something for everyone in this program. So strap yourself in, be prepared for some CD swapping, and get to work creating your masterpieces. --Gisele Toueg

Graphics okay but the navigation is way too lengthy. It is way too frustrating when error message comes up and erases all that you have typed/arranged. Would not recommend this product after trying to print a sign for the past hour!

This Software is the Best!! It is very easy to use and has almost everything you'd need for projects etc.
OH THE POSSIBILITIES.... December 28, 2001 Lauren (Long Island, NY, USA) 29 out of 32 found this review helpful
I can do almost anything I can think of with this program, and some things that i didn't think of before! There are tons of graphics. The only downfall is having to load and reload the CD's again and again.
it is intuitive, but beware - there is no manual November 21, 2001 doppelganger (Chicago) 36 out of 41 found this review helpful
It is pretty easy to use, so you probably won't need one. I called them to assist me in finding it on the program disk, and they confirmed that it wasn't there. The help tips can be a little frustrating because navigating through all the stuff you don't need takes time, and I prefer to read the book first and attack later. The program is solid however for making sub-professional looking labels and importing graphics from scanners, DV fire wire, or the Internet.
Best Upgrade Yet September 29, 2001 68 out of 69 found this review helpful
I am very pleased with this upgrade. I have owned each upgrade since 5.0 and this is the best since 6.0. I got the DVD so there is no disk swapping and find the extra graphics more usuable. It is simple to put together your printed material and easy to find the projects that you have saved with the new picture viewer of each one. I use some projects like labels and cards often. The photo software is better than most. You don't loose the original photo when you change it in this system. I love Print Shop. I have used several other brands and still come back to this one. The newletters are the best and it is easy to change the graphics. It also works well with other software systems if you need to transfer part of a project to it.
