Great CD for Learning the Basics July 19, 2008

I boutht this CD before my trip to Paris. I only had about six weeks to learn, but I found the exercises to be fun, interesting and a great learning tool. Not only did I learn the vocabulary with games, but they have a great interaction sequence that makes you think on your feet. Was I fluent in French when I arrived? Of course not. But, I was able to get around, answer questions, order off of the menu and feel comfortable. I have to believe that the gracious treatment I received from the Parisians was because of my effort to speak a little French to them. I am going to Moscow in a few months and was hoping to find the same CD company for Russian. I bought another CD, but it isn't nearly as good as this one.
