Compatability problems September 18, 2008 Walter H. Anderson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Disappointed with this product. I run Windows Vista. I have all required system specs to work. The audio converter does not work. I have gone on troubleshooting, blogs, have run updates, still doesn't work. But I can buy and upgrade of this product that "should" make it work. No thanks.
YOU CANNOT RETURN DEFECTIVE ROXIO PRODUCTS!!! September 17, 2008 Disgruntled 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased MyDVD 9 from Roxio and it failed to work properly. When I consulted their technical support the suggestions they made were based on Windows Vista (it took them over a week to get back to me). The only problem is that my OS is Windows XP which I spelled out very clearly in my initial e-mail request. When I tried to get my money back they said they would not return products that were not purchased directly from Roxio. Consequently, IF YOU BUY ROXIO PRODUCTS YOU CANNOT RETURN THEM!!!
Not Like Sonic Stage September 3, 2008 Michael A. Kress 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I agree with other reviewers - save your money. This software doesn't install easily. Need to modify your registry in most cases (real roll of the dice). When it is installed, the look-up on cds doesn't work 95% of the time. Sonic Stage for NetMD always worked (but you have to delete it to install RecordNow Music Lab 10). There has to be better software out there.
Not as hard as you think September 1, 2008 E. Lea (Middle US) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you have used Easy CD Creator before, you will love this program. I tried several other programs, free trial downloads (including Blaze)and found them hard to navigate and hard to get them to do what I want. The instructions are clear and easy to follow on Music Lab - the instruction window pops up IN the program so you can read the instructions and perform them simultaniously. I cleaned and tracked 2, 2 hour, downloaded satellite radio programs in 30 minutes and ripped them to cds. I download alot of DJ sets so I am very pleased with what I can do.

... The ads for this product made it seem that we can do movies with it. ... The litterature that came with the software says that other software is required to make DVDs. ... Had I known that I would have bought the other software.
