 Really Amazing Tutorial August 28, 2008

I'm thrilled with this tutorial. It's quite comprehensive and covers everything from the basics through advanced (even though I'm not there yet). It's really well-written and easy-to-understand. I like how the lessons are laid out and the instructor is great. I'd suggest this to anyone wanting to learn Crystal. Very, very impressed!

I had high hopes for this video tutorial, and am left quite disappointed. The topics covered are done in brief, five minute (+/-) vignettes with very limited explanation of the data and how it relates to the feature being discussed. Essentially, you receive narration on what you see (i.e.: "now, I'll press this button and we can see that this feature opens...").
More a short guided tour of the software than anything leaning toward genuine instruction / explanation. Crystal Reports is a very powerful analytical tool, and this group of videos only serves to scratch the surface in a very brief, confusing way.
If you expect to come away with anything more than only the most spotty and limited understanding of CR, keep looking.

A really great product. So much easier than just reading from a book. I'm very impressed with the quality of the training material. Well thought-out lesson plan that makes learning simple. Love it.
