 Very Buggy Program July 26, 2008

I have had this software for over a year. Today, I am once again struggling to open 5 pictures and do basic editing. The software is buggy, it hangs up continuously and takes literally minutes to open a folder. It takes more minutes (not seconds) to show thumb nail photos of the contents of the folder. Many times the program has locked up and I have lost hours of work. This is not the fault of my computer which has more than sufficient speed and memory.
As far as features go, it is okay - nothing fantastic, but okay. If you have a lot of time and a lot of patience and want something inexpensive, this might be okay. However, if you are like me and are short on time and don't want to wait around minutes for a folder to open, pass this by.

This is not the best image suite I have used. However, I was able to purchase it and receive a rebate whereby it was free. If you can't get a rebate, I would suggest looking around a little more. It is fairly easy to use, but doesn't have the wealth of tools that other products have. If you just want to crop, auto focus, etc. and send to others or post on your home page, this is fine. If you are shooting for a professional look for a business site, this may not be the package for you. The one feature for which I purchased it was the stitch feature. It also does not work as well as others but is usable if you can get all the pictures to line up correctly. Mine was free ultimately, so I will keep it. But will still keep looking.
