The Works of John Knox - standard edition of Knox's text, collected and edited by David Laing. Six volumes, and approximately 3,700 pages. The Libronix Digital Library System (LDLS) edition of The Works of John Knox is presented as an interlinear resource. The primary manuscript line is that of Laing's edition of Knox' Works. The secondary line is a modernization of Laing's word (where needed). The modernization serves to make Laing's edition more readable by today's reader. As with other interlinear resources in Libronix, the primary and secondary lines in The Works of John Knox can be displayed, hidden, or reordered using the options in View | Interlinear. Each of these lines are also fields in the LDLS edition, which allows you to search only Laing's words, if desired. Conversely, if you want to search only the modernizations, that is possible as well.
