No longer supported May 12, 2005 R. Stoy 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
You can no longer upload bank information because the product is not supported. I could not register or use the software that I just purchased.
Misleading Product Ended Up Costing More March 27, 2004 Product was not full version as implied. In order to use it I had to call company and pay more money. Would never buy from here again.
Glad they stopped selling it April 1, 2003 P. Siniawski Do not pay for this. This came preinstalled on my eMac. What a waste! It often quits unexpectedly! I was using Quicken Deluxe 99 on Windows 95 and I never had so many problems as I do with this version. The layout is unintuitive, and nearly unusable. It spawns a new window for every account. There is just so much that I can't do in this version that I could on the Windows version. Customization is one. Another is that the reports are limited to 64 columns, I had hundreds of columns QD99 under Win95. I could understand if the current Windows version had extra features but this is 4 years later! How Intuit could release such rubbish baffles me.
I am addicted to Quicken March 11, 2003 Michael D. Waters (Franklin, TN) I have been using Quicken since it's early DOS versions. In my humble opinion, there is simply no better way to organize all of your finances. Most banks and credit card companies will allow you to download transactions directly into Quicken (no file download from the institution's web site, and then import into Quicken) -- I'm talking about knowing your recent credit card transactions within a day or two (in case you are not the type to enter them in right when you get home). Manage all your brokerage accounts, 401k, IRA, track your mortgage, car payment, etc. It is all there, and come tax time - you will be sitting pretty when you need to import your neatly categorized Quicken transactions into TurboTax or TaxCut. You will not be disappointed, I highly recommend Quicken 2002 Deluxe or Suite.
Dropping the ball! September 11, 2002 Amanda T. Gamblin (Portland, OR United States) This version has lost a lot of it's visual pollish. We can only hope an update will fix some of the features that have been LOST since earlier versions. In '98 I could change the fonts used for registers! No more. My eyes hurt to look at it. But alas, I have 10 years of my life in there, I couldn't jump ship now.
