Amazon.com Review Disney's own street rat, Aladdin, is back in a new adventure, Nasira's Revenge. This 3-D action game is a port from the PlayStation to PC and, mercifully, doesn't require the latest, greatest PC just to play. It seems that even though our heroes vanquished Jafar, his sister, Nasira, (a new character created for the game) has a plan to bring him back from the dead. Together they plot to rule Agrabah. To start the plan off right, Nasira sends her thugs into the palace to kidnap the sultan and Jasmine. Of course, this can't sit well with our hero. You play Aladdin as you travel through nine different environments to rescue your friends. You try to collect coins and red gems, and defeat the many enemies you encounter. The game also throws you a couple of curve balls: some acts let you play as Abu or Jasmine, using their unique abilities to help out. Special Genie coins and red gems scattered about give special tchotchkes at the end of a level. The Genie coins grant you spins on a huge Genie slot machine (most often you get an extra life). If you collect three red gems in an act, you get a bonus round at the end. They can be pretty tough, so practice when you can. Nasira's Revenge has a lot of gameplay variety. There's all the fighting and jumping you'd expect in an action game, but it also has side quests and minigames scattered throughout generously. They're never too hard, but they keep your brain working as well as your fingers. Blazing-fast carpet rides satisfy the twitch gamer, too. In all, there's a little something for nearly every type of gamer. (Ages 8 and older) --Jeff Quick

Fun and Challenging December 3, 2002 bangzoom (Los Angeles, CA USA) I bought this game for my son, who loves it, but I often find my teenage daughter sitting down to play this game too! Until you get the hang of using all the command keys, it can be a bit frustrating. But once you master that, it is extremely challenging and lots of fun. There are multiple levels and characters that you can play. Not so easy that you get bored and not so hard that you're ready to walk away...but hard enough to make you want to continue trying. This game has been loads of fun!

Good, but with some limitations! February 16, 2001 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Parents may be somewhat concerned with the movie at the begining where Nasira calls on the "Darkest evil powers"(vocally), as if teaching our children like that is ok. Other than that I've found the game to be good (so far). You really need a 3d video card to play this game, otherwise you will quickly get a headache. There is some animated violence (use of swords) but no blood, which is nice for a change! I would suggest reading all the reviews both good and bad before you buy this game.

Aladdin may finally be rid of his evil nemesis Jafar, but he still has a formidable enemy in the sorcerer's sister, Nasira. Determined to avenge her brother's defeat, Nasira has banished the sultan from his own palace and now controls the city of Agrabah. Aladdin, the young street rat with the cocky smile, is back in his element--fighting cunning enemies, using the Magic Carpet to out-maneuver his pursuers in intense mid-air chases, and solving challenging puzzles. Journey across nine lively environments in your quest to destroy Nasira, from the Sultan's Palace to the Cave of Wonders. Can you run, jump, and fly your way to Nasira's headquarters and free Agrabah from her evil spell?
