    Amazon.com Review
What could be more fun than an afternoon in Furbyland? The first activity is to design your own Furby: choose among different sizes and many colors and patterns to create your ideal little buddy. When he's complete, there are lots of different games to play with your new friend. For example, in "Club Furby," your goal is to keep the Furby dancing by matching different sizes of disco balls. The three Furby backup dancers provide helpful comments like "bo-ring" when you're not doing well.

"Furby to the Rescue" is another favorite, with many challenging mazes to conquer while rescuing baby Furbys and collecting valuables. Each game has multiple skill levels, bonus rounds, and goofy rewards, making this activity similar to classic arcade-style entertainment. In the Scrapbook area, learn the history of Furbys, make use of the Furbish-English dictionary, and print coloring pages that make great fridge art. Happily, all the screens in the scrapbook are printable, so you can share the dictionary with other Furby-loving friends. While this program is officially for youngsters, Furby addicts of all ages are sure to enjoy. --Jill Lightner

Playtime is Furby time when you enter Furby's world. There are so many things to do. Explore the clouds, match up pairs of Furbys for roller coaster rides, or go disco dancing and help Furby keep the beat. Design your very own Furby, choosing the colors for everything from fur to eyes. You can print pictures to color and even learn Furbish with a special dictionary. When Furby needs care, take your pal to the Clubhouse for milk and cookies, then tickle Furby silly or brush Furby's fur.

this Furby has never been played with or started.I got this Furby when it first came out. It was never taught how to talk English so it still talks the Furby Language. You can't find them any more just the newer ones are out now. This will make a great Christmas gift.

5 out of 5 stars A good game to learn on for eye-hand coordination!   January 18, 2005

Greetings, and here is my nutshell review for the Furby CD-Rom. When I was a kid, I had no video games whatsoever. They were not allowed in my house. I did not play my first video game until I was in my mid-20's, but was not very good and so, gave up easily. When I got my first computer, somebody got me this game as kind of a gag gift...but, I really enjoyed it and was able to develop some good eye-hand coordination by playing it! It's quite fun, actually, and it has different activities such as designing your own Furby, playing with him/her in the clubhouse, and games such as flying thru the clouds (think of Aladdin's flying carpet), plopping all the Furbys into the rollercoaster so they can ride it (my favorite), dancing Furbys in a nightclub where you have to keep them dancing by clicking on the right color disco ball, and a neat maze game which I'm not real good at yet. There is also a scrapbook section which contains the original Furby poem which appeared on the back of the box of the toy when it first came out, and Furbish-to-English dictionary and phrasebook, games the toy will play, coloring pages to be printed, and color photos of some of the early Furbys in their various fur patterns, very collectable!
I gave it 5 stars for playability, kitsch value, nostalgia trip, and the only caution would be: If you have Windows XP, when you install this game do not change your Direct X setup, skip that step. You might want to install it under Program Compatibility settings just to get it running. Windows 98 users: Make sure you have the right screen resolution settings for this game or it will not run properly! I have run this game on 2 different PC's so far....so good luck and have fun, thanks for reading my review!

2 out of 5 stars It's fun, but there isn't that many games.   July 5, 2004

It's a fairly decent game when it comes to size, but the fun-o-meter is set at 4 on a scale of one to ten. It has fun games, and the beanie wheather game is challenging. But there isn't very much to do, and there is only 4 games to play. Creating your own Furby is exciting, though. It even has inter-changable backgrounds! I was a little dissapointed though when I won all the games and beat my own high score, because after that there isn't much left to do except play and win the games all over again.

This game is ok I guess, I played it at my cousin's house. It'sgood for small children. I think it's pretty annoying just like thereal thing. But kids seem to enjoy it.The design a furby is pretty cool you can choose from a varity or colors to color your furby. I didn't get a chance to play with the games. And basically with this game you take care of your furby like it was a pet!
