 The best AV I ever used January 5, 2009

This anti-virus software is the best I have ever used or seen at work. It even finds and destroy the (Trojan dialer.) you know the annoying thing that causes windows to prompt you to work offline over and over again. Also My web browser no longer is hijacked by pop ups. Northern antivirus and symantec endpoint both failed to perform anywhere nearly as efficient or effective as this program. Also this program does not slow down your computer's performance or your boot time.Get it and see for yourself.

This is a fantastic product. I bought and installed it after my Norton anti-virus failed to stop an infection on my PC. Also, the Norton, which is so bloated, really slowed my system. I removed Norton after I had the local Microcenter store remove the virus. The NOD32 just does its job quietly in the background, and my system has never been faster. I tested NOD32 with a know test virus, and NOD32 passed with flying colors. The only time you are aware of NOD32 is when you get a brief message in the system tray announcing an up-date or that it monitored an incoming e-mail and told me it was OK -- but without slowing things down.

Not the easiest to setup to be honest, but even on its worst days, beats Norton and McCafee to death. Neysayers....read the directions, for the rest of us....pick your setting put in a password....away you go. Is it perfect?... is anything running on Vista perfect?...You still need to be careful and have some other toys to protect yourself. I do miss the free "dos" scanner from versions gone by...but I have tried most and its still the one to beat in my book...

This is the best anti virus on the market today.
It has a very small foot print, not a resource hog at all as a matter of fact you don't even know its there.
I combine this anti virus software with a good router that is a hard firewall, plus I use Fire Fox as a browser and on a Vista 64 bit OS so that I literally never get infected by anything.

I have only been using this for a little over a month now. I did not have any trouble installing the software. No conflicts with other programs so far either. Unlike other antivirus programs NOD32 works in the background. After I first loaded it I kept checking to see that it was running. :) It was.
I think other antivirus programs want you to see what a good job they are doing and tend use pop-up windows to brag about that. They never stop to think just how annoying that can be when that happens while trying to get some work done. That is not a problem with NOD32.
