This records everything I need to know about for my teens. Websites, IM/Chats, email, and it even takes snapshots of the screen. It plays back like your DVR on your TV. This makes life much simplier to keep a watchful eye. Best of all it only took me 5 minutes to install it.
Mac's never had a monitoring program like this before.

I was impressed with the previous Spector for Mac product - I can't wait to install this one! I was also impressed with the support the company provided. I had called after midnight and they had people immediately available to answer my questions. Every parent who has a teenager needs Spector.
Best Monitoring for the Mac! October 30, 2008

Good news for those who want to monitor their kids' potentially dangerous PC and Internet activity on the Mac: I just got an email today telling me that SpectorSoft, the developer of Spector for Mac, has come out with a NEW program called Spector Pro mac 2009. The new program has a lot more features than "regular" Spector for Mac ... like Web Sites Visited, Chat and Instant Message Activity including all the major chat clients: iChat, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and Adium. Plus it can record Email Activity for email programs like Apple Mail, Microsoft Entourage, Mozilla Thunderbird, and other POP/SMTP email clients. You can also record User Activity to see if and when your kids or employees are actively using the Mac with the User Activity chart.
What's more, you can also review recordings from another computer, PC or Mac, in your home or office without having to return to the computer you are monitoring.
From what I understand, there are no other Mac monitoring programs out there, and I'm glad the one and only has gotten even better! Not sure Amazon has it in stock yet, but you can always go to the spectorsoft website and download it immediately ... site is www.spectorsoft.com.
