Purchase Review December 21, 2008 Richard S. Ketcham (Erie,PA) This is the best version of canasta I've found. However, the software contained spyware that messed up my computer.
Huge Disappointment December 10, 2008 Elizabeth Walker (Pacific Grove, CA USA) These games are a huge disappointment. The graphics are poor and the games are cumbersome and slow. The poorly designed graphics look very old and dated. Even though there are a number of games available, they are poorly organized and not well written; most of them are pretty boring. The graphics and actions do not work properly on all games. The 'talking heads' players are more annoying than useful or enjoyable. I am very frustrated that I wasted my money on these games; save your money and don't buy it!
Hoyle Card Games December 8, 2008 K. Graber I like several of the games on the CD. I wish spades had the option of getting rid of the bag limit. I've never played the game with a bag limit before and the computer program players underbid consistently and take tricks they shouldn't take. That is frustrating. I ordered the puzzle and casino games too and this one is my favorite so far.
Hoyle Card Games November 29, 2008 Betty P (Florida, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although this says (Old Version), I had the one older than this version for years. This one has many more features and games than the older one I had. Very satisfied with my order.
Frustrating bridge game November 22, 2008 Molly Nash Larson (Bartlesville, OK USA) Why can't someone develop a computer bridge game that provides the challenge of the bidding and playing hands? This bridge game is the only one I could find for my Mac and it leaves much to be desired. I find the idea of animals as opponents or partners inane and all the robots talk too much (one can keep the dialogue minimized but one still needs to hear the bidding). This was not an easy install. I had to get professional help to get it working. Even then it seemed to reluctant to install or mount or attach.
