landscaping software September 2, 2007 J. Griner (Mississippi) This is a good program, if you don't want to landscape your own yard. I guess it would work on your own yard, if you had all the time in the world to figure out how to do it.
Decent...for the money August 23, 2006 maebyn 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I can't really complain, I bought the software for $3.50. For what I paid, it does a great job. The software isn't as intuitive as you might hope, and the graphics aren't the best. But to just get an overall view of how your landscape design will likely turn out, it's not bad. The bad thing about this program is that it does cause Windows to crash during periods of prolonged use (usually during the walk-through/3d function), so you need to save often and be prepared to reboot your machine a few times.
good value January 22, 2005 Elizs 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
There are a ton of plants listed that you can choose from and it tells you a lot of information about each. While it is a bit confusing at first, switching between views and figuring out where everything is at. Once you get the hang of it, it is somwhat simple to use, you can even add your own photos to the landscape which is nice. It also has project ideas to base yours on. Very good value for the price overall. You just have to be patient to learn how to use it. It took me maybe 2 hours of siting there to get a realistic look of the garden I was imagining.
Total Garbage. November 14, 2004 Mark O. Swendig (Colorado) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Hard to use, and just when you think you're getting the hang of it, it makes you're computer crash. Completely unusable. This software really deserves a 0 star rating.
Total Garbage - Look Elsewhere October 2, 2004 PP45 (Santa Clarita , CA) The pictures on the box are more impressive than this piece of garbage. It's not intuitive at all. The documentation does not match the software.
