Almost like being there November 1, 2008 Robert Clark Kirchner I connected my 42 inch TV and loaded this game up and all I remember saying was WOW! The graphics aren't state of the art but work nicely. I played the division tutorial over and over again. I used to re-enact and this game puts me right back in the thick of things. Probably the best tactical ACW game out here at the moment. The AI is very good and there are a lot of mods out there. I wish it had online play and a full campaign mode.
Question October 11, 2007 Derek S. Reynolds First of all, i absolutely love this game. I am currently in the middle of playing it, but i am stuck on the 30th. I need to play as General Lee, however, his icon for this battle is a different grey color and when i click on it, the scenario wont load. Can anyone help me with this? I need to play the scenario to get promoted and move on in the game. Thank you very much in advance. I highly recommend this game as it is now the only one that i will play. Thanks again and enjoy.
Wow! September 20, 2007 Michael Taylor (Indian Trail NC) Admittingly, I have played only the brigade, artillery, and division level tutorials for Take Command - 2nd Manassas and am totally impressed! The online and printed manuals are great and easy to follow and the icons on the map are easily seen and easy to understand - a far cry from Divided Nation. The terrain features also seem to be very realistic for a PC game. I understand that Paradox Interactive will produce a future Civil War game that contains other Civil War battles (Shiloh? Perryville? Corinth). Would someone please advise if this is true and if so, when will it be published? If you like wargames (especially Civil War real-time), get this game! The beginner will appreciate the excellent manual and tutorials while the advanced gamer will surely enjoy the battle scenarios. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
Not just the best civil war game, best war game September 5, 2007 Jeffrey C. Welsh (Miamisburg OH) Like the title says, this game is fantastic. Many improvements over CWBR. Mad Minute Games completely supports this product. Checkout their website at [...]. The AI in this game is not equaled in any other game that I have played. This game is so fun that I'm still playing the first three scenarios over and over. I have yet to get into the meat of the game. If you like to get your money's worth out of a game by playing it many times, than I highly suggest that you purchase this software.

We had trouble loading the software our desktop PC (purchased in 2005). We put it on a newer laptop, and it ran well. The game is lots of fun.
