| Customer Reviews:
Good course August 22, 2008 Casey Petrovich (California, USA) Lots of information here. I learned more than in the $5000 3-day crash course. I'm changing professions and this covered all of SolidWorks major tools. It doesn't cover the basic math and physics concepts that you need under your belt for engineering, but that didn't bother me too much as I still remember a lot of this stuff from college.
Good breakdown of SW August 19, 2008 R. D. Agnillo (California) I suck at learning from a book so I'm biased toward the video format. I guess you could say I'm a dummy but the SolidWorks for Dummies is too boring for me. I have the SolidWorks bible but it's not intuitive and learning-friendly. This very long video course covers all the basics simply and to the point; there's no yammering and the voice is clear, which is really helpful for me. Customer service was good too. When I called to ask about the version of SW used in the course, a person answered the phone, passed me to a real engineer, and then I received my DVD in the mail two days after I ordered. Nice. I picked up the CATIA course, too: CATIA V5 Video Tutorial DVD, 4th ed.
