| Customer Reviews:
SQL Server 2005 Screams February 23, 2006 David Geller (Seattle, WA) We switched to SQL Server 2005 for our platform because 2000 went end-of-life. Happy to report our interactions with the new version have been superb. The workgroup edition version, thankfully, now can use up to 3GB of RAM (something that required Enterprise in the previous version). We've also found the engine to appear to use significantly fewer resources (CPU, memory) than 2000 - which is great. Some of our functions increased in speed by 3-5X. A dramatic improvements. We're very impressed.
