Love it, love it, love it. August 17, 2007 D. HEIM (Hershey) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use quicken at home and instead of taking my check book out with me I download everthing to my palm. Hot sync its that easy.
There is a newer V. 2.5 that works with 2006 December 4, 2006 CarlitosF (Virginia, USA) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
Amazon does not know that v.2.0 does not work with 2006. Please update your store and sale the new v. 2.5 (I am in the process to return this software due to wrong advertisement) I am testing the new 2.5 with quicken 2006 and I love it I don't mind paying the full price for this GREAT! software... Thank you
Pocket Quicken does what I wanted. September 2, 2006 Jon Pierre (Louisiana) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The software was simple to install and works fine. I needed a way to maintain my checking account and Pocket Quicken fills the need. It allows me to keep up with my checking account, and several credit card accounts. At the end of the day, I always know exactly what I have spent without a lot of hassle or fuss. I simply hot sync and then open Quicken. That is all that I wanted and it supplied my need. I have had the program for about three months and have had absolutely no problems.
Great, while it still worked November 30, 2005 Gadget Girl (Alexandria, VA) 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
This product was pretty cool at first. Not as good as Quicken on your PC, but it synced up well and was neat to be able to take with you to keep track of purchases. Would have been great for travel and for remember to log purchases. A few weeks after installing the software, I had to wipe my HP iPaq and reinstall it. It reinstalled, but now gives me an error message when I try to open the program. Everything else on the PDA works fine - I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the same thing happens. I'm disappointed that it no longer functions. As long as it is compatible with your PDA and seems to stay functional, it's a neat product. Kind of pricey for what you get, but nice for the frequent traveler/personal finance guru!
Basic Entry - not very feature rich February 10, 2005 Book Professor (Pomona, CA) 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
For the price I thought I'd get more than what amounts to a basic spread-sheet program that sync's with Quicken. Yes, when I'm spending cash, or using a CC at the store, it's great that I can enter it into the PPC and it will import it into my Quicken. But it's not stand-alone. It won't really track your portfolios. And it does not display any charts or graphs. For $10 it's worth it, for $30 I would have rather saved the money and just entered in my reciepts when I get home. I would suggest looking at alternatives like MS Money and SPB Finance.
