Great gift November 20, 2008 Stig Hunstiger (Western KY) Great birthday gift for my wife, but now I have to get my own...Another great product from Nintendo!
Nintendo DS November 19, 2008 W. Larson (Elma, WA) It works exactly as advertised. It arrived in perfect order in less time than expected.
Great Gaming system November 19, 2008 The Stinkpot I am a big gamer and have had just about all the systems. It makes me happy to see nintento still hanging on. I believe that the ds lite is a wonderful innovative little piece of equipment, that deserves all the rave reviews that it gets. I bought a PSP first and was very disappointed with the games and the quality of games. The only thing that the PSP has over the DS is it goes on the internet. But, I have a nokia n810 for that and a palm phone. I only need the game to be a game. If you are looking for hours of fun, the DS LITE is for you, your kids and anyone who love to play games
Lorraine's review November 17, 2008 Richard Sweetman When inputting letters/words the Nintendo doesn't accept my printing of words. Tried different ways to print the letters and they were not accepted as well.
Nintendo DS November 17, 2008 A. Lynch (Autumn Mists, Honalee) Since the introduction of the original Game Boy, commonly referred to by gamers as The Brick, Nintendo have owned the portable gaming market. They have managed to stay on top for a number of reasons, all of which apply to the DS just as much as they have any other system. First, the physical DS Lite. The Nintendo DS was not an overly attractive system, and it was a bit big. The DS Lite is an attractive system. It's small enough to fit conveniently in your pocket or in your bag, so you can always have it with you, no matter where you are. The stylus fits securely in a slot on the side, and the only time that ever becomes a problem is if, like me, you tend to chew on pens or pencils, because you will chew on the stylus, and it wont lock into place. Fortunately, the DS comes with a spare, and if you lose both they are readily available for purchase. The graphics are not PSP levels, it's true. They aren't close. But they still look great. And the touch screen and microphone add incredible layers to the game play. The new, more interactive direction Nintendo has been taking with the DS and the Wii is something to admire and to commend. I can't tell you how much fun it's made games for me. I love using the touch screen in clever and unexpected ways. The design possibilities are almost endless. That the DS also plays Game Boy Advanced games means you have an incredible library of spectacular games at your disposal. If you are in the market for a portable system, this is the one.
