5 out of 5 stars Great MOBO, Watercooling tips   October 27, 2008

This is one of the best motherboards on the market. If you are an extreme tweaker like me you will find that you can do basically anything with this motherboard. I do have some cons though and they deal with the watercooling aspect of this MOBO.

    Watercooling Tips:
    1) If you are going to watercool the motherboard, please don't use the supplied 3/8" tubing. It is very rigid and will not give you a good seal. If you need to convert from 3/8" to either 1/2" or 1/4" tubing, go to your local hardware store and pickup a foot of vinyl (3/8" Inner Diameter) tubing in the plumbing area and us that instead. Trust me it will save you NUMEROUS headaches trying to make the supplied tubes not leak.

    2) If you want to be 100% sure of no leaks don't use the supplied converters (3/8"->1/2" or 3/8->1/4") too. They are plastic (Which makes no sense to me with this high end motherboard) and can cause leaks due to the way the barbs are setup (Plus more prone to crack if you tighten down on them to much).

Other than that, this motherboard can not do you wrong. I have had it now for 2 months and love its performance and tweaking ability.
